Meet Gemini & Apollo Astronaut Richard Gordon in a special England appearance!

Selected as an astronaut by NASA in 1963, Gordon made his first spaceflight as pilot on the three-day Gemini 11 mission, during which he left the spacecraft for a 44 minute spacewalk. In November 1969, he flew to the Moon on Apollo 12 where he orbited 60 miles above whilst his crewmates walked on its surface.

Gordon retired from NASA in 1972 to become Executive Vice President of the New Orleans Saints professional football team and today he travels the world as a motivational speaker.
