Walter Schirra is photographed wearing his Mercury space suit while being connected to his portable air conditioning unit. He was the only man to fly in all of America's first three space programs: Mercury, Gemini, and Apollo. Schirra autographed a limited number of these 8" x 10" official NASA photos exclusively for the Astronaut Scholarship Foundation.
